About the Role:
As a Finance Analyst, you will work on a variety of financial models and plans. Activities include but are not limited to forecasting, planning, resource prioritization and business profitability, and translating analyses into easy-to-understand presentations. This position participates in the planning and execution of strategy to ensure a successful closure of every fiscal year.
Through our Emerging Leaders Development Program (ELDP), our objective is to create a diverse, talented workforce of professionals and influential business leaders. You will get to know our business and understand manufacturing and logistics processes in a way that prepares you to make a meaningful impact at Wabash. This program will help you build a network with cross-functional leaders throughout the business, develop technical and soft skills through a multitude of trainings, and ultimately prepare you to be one of our future leaders.
Your Responsibilities:
- Create, design, and maintain reusable datasets with appropriate architecture to work with high level of data complexity
- Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Manage assigned SOX Internal Controls
- Assist with process improvement initiatives to drive scalable analysis and insight
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of financials throughout systems
- Prepare quarterly analysis and reports for E&O, NRV adjustments, Warranty, Pricing, Labor, and Overhead
- Other duties as assigned
Let's Talk About Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business
- Professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting certificate) is a plus
- Proficiency in data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Excel, Essbase, and/or Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, and SAP)
- Familiar with concepts of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
